MaxSys is currently looking for an Advanced Special Advisor for our Federal Client.
• Must possess a Masters Level degree in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution in Engineering, Applied Science, Business Administration, or Information Management Systems.
• Must clearly demonstrate 5 years’ experience within the past 10 years’ performing Training analysis, Training Development in a military, governmental and/or International Governments.
• Must clearly demonstrate 10 years’ experience specifically related to Training Development and/or International Military Training Development in Defence Cyber Projects or Training Analysis.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working on either a single or a portfolio of IM/IT Business Transformation projects.
• Must have ten (10) years demonstrated experience in briefing senior leadership at the Director General level and above or Senior Executive Officer or above, and five (5) years demonstrated experience providing advice at the strategic level within Federal departments

• Support the creation of a Cyber Training Strategy and CMA Programme;
• Prepare and update Programme documents including, but not limited to, Programme Plan, Programme Strategy, Procurement Strategy, Outcome Management Strategy, Risk Management Strategy, Change Management Strategy, Performance Management Strategy, Defence Procurement Strategy;
• Maintain the Programme Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), develop, coordinate and document Programme plans, manage and control time requirements, resources and scope according to the priorities of the Programme;
• Maintain the Programme Schedule, regularly report to the stakeholders on Programme progress, resources and schedule concerns;
• Develop Programme financial estimation as required in collaboration with the Project Directorates and Project Management teams, In-Service Support, Engineering, and Security teams;
• Liaise with other stakeholder groups/leads with which the Programme has dependencies regarding any of the following:
• Implementation Costing (liaise with D Cost S as required);
• Programme Definition Costing (liaise with D Cost S as required)
• Status/progress of various milestones and deliverables;
• Business / operational context of the delivered IM / IT capability;
• Inter-agencies coordination;
• Allies Cyber organization for International coordination;
• Maintenance of a Programme Coordination Register for senior management;
• Monitor the progress of various project activities as part of the Programme, identifying risks, opportunities and managing communications;
• Provide support in all activities related to Corporate Submission and to take the projects, as part of the Programme, from Options Analysis to Definition Phase;
• Prepare reports (scheduled and ad-hoc) to provide updates on the status of the Programme;
• Participate in Programme and Executive level meetings as required;
• Prepare minutes of all discussions and Record of Decisions of the meeting(s) that pertain to the advancement of the Programme of work outlined in this SOW;
• Prepare a regular report of all meetings and action items that pertain to the advancement of the Programme of work outlined in this SOW; and
• Other tasks and special short term activities as necessary by D Cyber FD in line with progressing the Cyber Programme.
