Reporting to the Director, Digital Products, the junior digital content manager is responsible for programming, editing, integrating and publishing content on various digital properties, including social media.
• In collaboration with content and community managers, program, edit and integrate content on assigned digital properties.
• Write eye-catching headlines and headlines designed to attract the public to the site and increase loyalty.
• Adapt content to produce short videos.
• Create photo galleries and other types of content.
• Upload videos.
• Monitor attendance and viewing statistics and adapt programming accordingly.
• Be available to work at times atypical occasionally (evenings, weekends).
• Relevant college or university education.
• Be passionate about digital media and television and be on the lookout for the news at all times.
• Be a seasoned user of Content Management Systems (CMS) as well as social media, and have a good knowledge of web measurement tools and SEO.
• Minimum knowledge of video production and post-production.
• Demonstrate proven problem-solving skills and ability to learn and adapt in ever-changing environments.
• Have a positive attitude towards teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, proactive, rigorous, effective and results oriented.
• Be creative and resourceful.
• Flawless mastery of written French.
• Fluency in English is an asset.
