Our Client in the Telco industry is seeking a Bilingual Proposal Writer/RFP Writer for their Montreal office. This is a 12 months contract to start, possible extension.
The Request for Proposal Team is responsible for coordinating responses to Requests for Proposal for Bell Mobility Enterprise and Medium clientele throughout Canada. The primary role of the RFP Specialist is to coordinate and manage proposal response efforts with tight, fixed deadlines while ensuring compliance to strict solicitation requirements. As such, the successful applicant must possess strong organization skills, unerring attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. The nature of this position requires an individual with an ability to perform well under stress and an availability that will occasionally exceed the norm.

Reporting to Deal Support Manager- Sales Operations Team, the RFP Specialist will be responsible and accountable for the following:
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
• Analyzing and dissecting Request for Proposals (RFP) with the sales team in order to determine the essential parties
• Proficient in WORD, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communications skills
• Subjecting each case to the bid / no-bid process and contributing to this in order to increase the profitability of projects and reduce risks (legal and financial)
• Setting up a virtual team for each project
• Establishing a statement/Matrix of responsibilities with and for the virtual team, ensuring the follow-up and respect of deliverable time frames
• Planning and organizing the coordination meetings needed to ensure that the process runs smoothly
• Obtaining a consensual proposal from the team and ensuring the quality of members’ input
• Supervising the production of responses via the appropriate medium and guaranteeing the highest quality
• Responsible for the creative input of the presentation
• Excellent research skills

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
• RFP experience 1 to 3 years
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, WORD and PowerPoint)
• Detail oriented, organized and responsive, diligent and assertive
• Proven ability to establish priorities and manage several projects at once in adherence with stringent deadlines
• Strong understanding of Telecommunication business segments
• Innovative in creating customized business solutions.
• Superior time management skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines
• Confident and self-assured
• Bilingualism is required (English and French)

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
• Understanding of sales processes Medium and Enterprise Segment
• Experience in telecommunications and wireless
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to evaluate opportunities from a quantitative and qualitative perspective
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills in a highly competitive environment
• Ability to quickly foster relationships with other departments within the organization
