?Story Behind the Need

• Business group: IT Outsourcing & Supplier Management group is seeking a Business Process Analyst to document new processes. This group is responsible for strategies around supplier optimization. This BA will develop operational processes and required supporting documentation for Contract and Supplier Management governance. The incumbent will have knowledge and experience of process mapping and business process optimization. It will include documenting “as is” and “future state” business processes modelling to support requirements of functional and business areas including architecture and tools. The incumbent will work with various stakeholders, including Contract Governance, Supplier Management, functional departments and associated subject matter experts. The incumbent will lead and facilitate workshops to define and analyze business processes and workflows with recommendations to standardize.

Typical Day in Role

• Facilitate functional team and Subject Matter Experts (SME) interviews / workshops to define and document process requirements, measurements.
• Develop and document current and future state business processes and associated architecture, tools, reports information with clear distinction of inputs and outputs…
• Develop and document process model / business architecture content and artifacts consistent with generally accepted modelling standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders of various levels (from tactical to senior management), internal and/or external to the company.
• Develop and/or update of training material, develop user guides and provide training where required. Test and validate designed processes function as designed.
• Identify and communicate dependencies, constraints and interfaces.
• Train, mentor & coach team member and stakeholders.
• Prioritize effectively and execute tasks in a high-pressured environment with tight timelines and changing priorities

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) Process mapping (5+ years experience)
2) IT supplier management processes (2+ years experience)
3) MS Visio & Excel (5+ years experience – process maps, documentations, presentations)
4) Financial/Banking Industry (3-5 years experience – recent)

Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years experience in Business Analyst/Consultant capacity
