?Typical Day in Role

• Perform modeling, reporting, and analysis in support of annual business planning, monthly
closing, and portfolio scenario simulations
• Exercise knowledge of overall business strategy and IT alignment
• Assist in reporting and management of portfolio investment, strategic alignment and/or project, portfolio budgets, including approval, execution and forecasting
• Develop and report on trending within the portfolio and associated metrics to support management
• Develop and report on key metrics and support management on Planning, forecasting and actuals for the projects and portfolio
• Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as needed
• Support the creation of materials for various management meetings and reviews
• Create and drive the critical metrics for dashboard reporting, working with the team on various reports for the projects and portfolios
• Provide timely and accurate updates to the Program Manager and/or Portfolio Director as requested
• Partner with the Enterprise Program Management Office to develop and execute a plan to improve business processes as it relates to dashboard reporting controls
• Liaising with partners internal and external to PMO to devise, track, maintain and update reports for management such as:
o Centralized Delivery Manager & Project Control Officer list
o Program Management Office Current Demand vs. Capacity
• Working with large data sets and extracting useful recommendations and conclusions
• Understands the business from several points of view and aligns IT&S processes to address critical information and requirements.
• Performs complex project and data analysis as needed by management
• Ensures all Service Level Agreements are met for the Financial Monthly and Quarterly reports
• Participates in the annual planning and review sessions to provide insights for setting the priority of the projects, budgets and resource capacity versus demand to deliver the portfolio for all current and annually fiscal forecasted work
• Identifies trends and process improvement opportunities and inefficiencies across the PMO
• Builds relationships with the program team and stakeholders to drive the best practice dashboard reporting across the organization
• Leverages strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver reports and presentations to management
• Provides assistance with other projects when needed

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) Business Analytics/Business Intelligence experience (3+ years experience)
2) Executive Reporting (3+ years experience)
3) Advanced Excel (3+ years macros, vlookups, pivot tables)
4) Large data sets (3+ years tracking metrics, manipulating data)
5) FI/Banking industry experience (not mandatory but preferred)

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 5+ years overall working experience in a BA/BI capacity
