Accounting & Finance - Toronto

•             Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience, with exposure to one or more of the following: financial or risk reporting; liquidity and funding risk measurement and/or capital management; treasury; collateral management; and/or funds transfer pricing. (Last two are the least important)
•             Exposure to or understanding of Capital Markets businesses (exposure to trading businesses is an asset)
•             Understanding of international financial markets and regulatory environments (Basel III, FCA, OSFI, FINRA, etc.)
•             Knowledge of financial and trading systems (money markets operations, financial instruments, secured and unsecured funding)
•             Excel: Prior experience creating macros. is required
•             Attitude is key. They are looking for someone to run the day to day processes and potentially will turn into more of an analytical role.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
•             Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and provide ongoing support and maintenance of model metrics and attributes
•             Produce timely and accurate management information related to capital usage, funding activity, liquidity risk, collateral usage and liability diversification, as well as, various  regulatory metrics
•             Produce ad hoc analysis and reporting of various liquidity, funding, and collateral scenarios to understand impacts on Capital Markets businesses
•             Support the development and implementation of analytical models which support balance sheet optimization related to liquidity, funding, collateral, and capital as defined in the Bank’s Corporate Policies, Standards, and Guidelines
•             Draft and maintain procedural documentation detailing processes and controls for risk reporting platform
•             Contribute to first-line-of-defence enterprise-wide liquidity and funding risk monitoring and reporting including analysis and policy compliance reporting to senior management within Capital Markets
•             Work with LOBs to ensure compliance with liquidity and funding limits and guidelines
•             Develop an understanding of regulatory and internal liquidity and funding risk metrics in order to contribute to  balance sheet management activities
•             Manage additional projects, accountabilities, and ad hoc requests as required
•             Prior with SQL. (They just have to extract data for SQL)
•             Prior Banking experience.
