Role Mandate:
The Investments Process team within the Business Process & Digitization group is focused on improving the value stream of investment processes and leading several digitization initiatives. Digitization enables the bank to increase the operational efficiency of sales and service processes while reducing cost and improving the employee and customer experience.

As a Business Process Analyst, they will have a fantastic opportunity to participate in transformational technology projects while learning about retail investment processes. They will work with a diverse group of talented professionals in a dynamic environment.

Role Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): 
• conduct analysis, generate ideas and identify process improvement opportunities
• help define solutions for automating manual processes
• assist in gathering business requirements, coordinate meetings and project documents, review project documentation and provide feedback
• support and participate in user acceptance testing of technology solutions, analyze defects and facilitate meetings
• assist in monitoring project helpdesk calls and triage as required
• investigate escalations from branches and the help desk, understand subject matter (Term products and mutual funds) and resolve issues
• update procedures and Job Aids
• create and deliver presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
• assess business risk of supported processes using available reporting, make recommendations to improve risk and assist in implementing action plans
• map processes using leading edge applications, create and maintain process maps

Must-Have Skills:
• Post-secondary student status, studying Business, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Some internship experience in a related field
• Good business acumen in applying technical solutions to business ideas
• Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), particularly Excel
• Very strong quantitative and analytical skills
• strong documentation skills (i.e. project based documents), either in an intern capacity or in an academic setting
• strong presentation skills
• professional polish

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• previous internship experience with a financial institution
• previous internship experience in process analysis or business analysis
• Some knowledge of UAT, or experience in a UAT support capacity
• Bilingual in French

Educational Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in one of the aforementioned fields in progress, senior status (3rd or 4th year)- this role is more senior in nature, and thus requires an intern with previous internship experience, or work experience of equivalent value.
