MaxSys is currently looking for a Chemical Engineer, Intermediate for our Federal Client.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education:
 
• Secondary school diploma is required
• Undergraduate degree in an engineering program, specializing in a specific relevant field, from a recognized Canadian University or an acceptable equivalent from a foreign institution
 
Experience:
 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with environmental legislation, acts and best practices related to Air and noise in Canada
• Minimum of 3 years  of experience applying Air and Noise measuring practices
• Strong Communications Skills, working with technical and non-technical clients
• Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
 
Duties, but not limited to:
 
• Assisting in the continuous improvement of Air and Noise emissions at the NRC
• Organizing, preparing and delivering  materials for briefings, meetings, workshops and trainings
• Implementing petroleum storage tanks compliance initiative
• Developing action plans and assisting in the implantation of corrective measures for waste water
• Reviewing reports, suggesting improvements, making recommendations and formulating action plans
• Building relationships and engaging stakeholders
 
Language: Bilingual – Intermediate
Security Clearance: Enhanced Level
