Our client in Telco Industry is looking for Data Entry Assistant (Marketing) for Toronto location. This is a 3 months contract position.
The Marketing Assistant provides support on pre-event, on-site and post-event assistance for our annual sales event, CTV Upfront. The primary role for this 3 month position is to help manage and update invite/client lists, while working closely with the sales and marketing teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with tasks related to Trade Marketing Department, including, but not limited to:
-Collecting invite lists from various departments
-Maintain and update guest list, including being responsible for ensuring accuracy in emails and tracking invites
-Check-in of guests at event
-Handling guest reservations
-Other general duties as determined by department
This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for events that create a high-quality guest experience. Office work includes but is not limited to answering and returning phone calls, follow-up with inquiries, computer data entry, and assistance with correspondence and event files.
Bachelors Degree and/or College Diploma is preferred, focus could include hospitality, marketing, communications with strong interest in special events.
Candidate must demonstrate strong communication skill.
Minimum 2 years’ experience
Ability to use CRM system
Computer proficiency: word-processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and data base management;
Excellent organizational and office skills;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Sound decision-making ability;
Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and clients;
Self-motivation, initiative and reliability are essential.
