MaxSys Staffing and Consulting is currently looking for a full-time permanent Data Entry Manager for our client, the national carrier of choice for thousands of Canadian companies. Our client maintains a high performing, organized and safe workplace that enables them to consistently provide superior service in moving customers’ LTL and TL freight. This is a full-time permanent opportunity in Somerville, NB with shifts starting at 5pm and typically ending around 1:30am. Salary is to be negotiated. To be successful in this role, you will exceptionally complete the following (not an exhaustive list of responsibilities) Accountability for the team and the daily processes, productivity and accuracy requirements. Identify, develop, communicate & implement change and efficiency improvements Staffing including the hiring, on-boarding, and training of new employees and ensuring current staff have the training and skills required for success. Performance management and development of people to ensure appropriate growth opportunities and succession planning, as well as a strong, results driven team. Development of an open, pro-active and positive environment where the team contributes to the daily processing of accurate information in an efficient manner. Maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Constant communication of individual and team goals, company goals with Customer focus. Deal with conflict and disciplinary issues in a manner that will positively impact team success. Facilitate regular team meetings, participate and/or facilitate projects to meet company goals. Analysis of data to identify trends and root causes for challenges and problems. Development and implementation of plans to ensure continuous improvement. Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances. Other duties related to Financial & Operational support as may be required. To be qualified for this role, please ensure your resume clearly displays some or all of the following: Management of a large team (15+) with aid of lead hand/supervisor 3-5 years experiencing managing a team in an administrative environment, as well as budgeting and managing costs and expenses. Post-secondary education in office or business administration Previous experience with AS400 and/or in the transportation industry a strong asset. Leadership skills, including the ability to manage and engage a team working under pressure to meet daily data entry requirements. Strong communication skills, verbal and written Ability to support and team and coach for performance and development. A high degree of emotional intelligence demonstrating tact, courtesy and diplomacy. Ability to make tough decisions Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Visio and preferably AS400 Good customer service skills with the ability to relate how the work done affects both internal and external customers.
