Our client in the Banking and Finance Industry is seeking a Digital Marketing consultant for their downtown Toronto for a 12 months contract, with possibility for extension or Permanency.
They develop client communication and though leadership for all of B2b. this includes, CP, GAM, North America commercial lending business
Drive engagement with B2B clients by delivering best-in class and proprietary Thought Leadership Content
Enhance the digital experience by creating relevant content to a defined audience through targeted emails and social media interactions
Build stronger relationships with clients by managing effective and strategic charitable giving programs
Goal is to create brand awareness, audience loyalty and drive conversions
There is about 30-50 people overall within this group but this subsection has about 7 people overall. This role is very relationship driven and very customer centric.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
The Content Team will work with you to
Create a content strategy as part of an integrated marketing strategy
Identify objective, audience and best subject matter expert(s)
Prioritize topics, messaging, timing and distribution
Optimize campaign through website and email strategy
Promote content through targeted emails and social media
Oversee project timelines and deliverables
Measure ROI of campaign
Share across banks enterprise where applicable
We help brainstorm topics to create engaging pieces of content
Create and apply the Thought Leadership program across B2B businesses
Demonstrate s expertise across B2B by showcasing our:
Product & Market expertise
Must attend conferences & events
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
This person must come must come from content writer or journalism background. (Years of experience doesnt matter). (3-5 years is the preferable years however)
Create a content strategy as part of an integrated marketing strategy.
Strong written content creation background is a must. (written word).
Strong written & oral communication skills
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience in working with an online content management system (CMS), SEO, blogging, social media and web analytics
Prior experience with Social media and target emails.
Prior experience with banking/FI
Prior experience being published etc.
Willing and eager to work in a hands-on capacity
Strong strategic planning and marketing skills
Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
Problem resolution and reasoning skills
A balance of strong analytic and creative skills
Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
Proven ability demonstrating strong collaboration skills
Worked in changing, high growth environments; comfortable with ambiguity and working in matrixed organizations
Ability to critical paths adhering to tight timelines
Bachelors degree in marketing, or related field
