MaxSys is currently looking for a HR Assistant, Level 1 for our Federal Client.
Secondary school diploma is required
Must have a degree or diploma in Human Resources or a combination of commensurate experience, training and knowledge.
These qualifications include three years experience working in a Human Resources environment in combination with post-secondary education.
The work to be performed will be related but not limited to:
Provide administrative support to Civilian Personnel Manager;
Compose routine correspondence in response to inquiries and requests for information and refer more complex requests to Civilian Personnel Manager;
Guide unit managers on Human Resources and administrative procedures and documentation requirements;
Conduct searches, gather and compile information, update data, create spreadsheets, generate reports and statistics and maintain accurate information in databases;
Maintain safeguards; apply appropriate security designation to Human Resources files, records and correspondence;
Receive, sort, review and process correspondence, distribute mail, provide reception, and be secondary point of contact for queries;
On request, take out file to verify accuracy of information in file and request to provide to Civilian Personnel Manager;
Create and update a database of all Public Servant positions. Ensure the appropriate data entry, the compilation of data and information, and the preparation of reports;
Security Clearance: Enhanced Level
