Education:
• Secondary school diploma is required
Experience:
• Must clearly demonstrate 5 years of relevant experience
Duties:

• Perform a comparative analysis of the New Engineering and Scientific Support (EG) Lateral progression classification in use within Assistant Deputy Minister of Science and Technology (ADM(S&T) and the existing classification process presently in use within Assistant Deputy Minister (Materiel) (ADM(Mat). 
• Analyse existing Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) policies as they relate to the EG Lateral Progression Classification and compare to the ADM(S&T) classification process. 
• Assist management in the, analysis of the feasibility of implementation within ADM(Mat) of the new EG lateral progression classification presently in effect within ADM(S&T)
• Prepare briefing notes, power point presentations, memorandum and letters to both senior management and all related stakeholders to explain, socialise, seek approval and implement as necessary. 
• Prepare briefing notes, power point presentations, memorandum and letters to employees and all related stakeholders to explain, socialise, popularize any senior management decisions related to the implementation of the EG lateral progression classification within ADM(MAT)
• Creation, drafting, writing any necessary documents required to seek support from senior management with the intent to implement the EG lateral progression classification within Quality Engineering Test Establishment (QETE). 
• Assisting in the review of benchmark decisions as they relates to the classification process.
• Prepare briefing to explain the current Engineers training program and the EG training program in use within ADM(MAT) and explain the reasoning for its use.
• Advising or debriefing management or employees of the status with regard to the EG Lateral Progression Classification on a regular basis.
• Creating, updating and managing work documents, as they relate to classification/ reclassification of positions
• Providing advice in classification policies and priorities.
• Some travelling to Val Cartier will be necessary
• Provide monthly status report

Security Clearance: Enhanced Level
