MaxSys is currently looking for an Intermediate Calibration Technician for our Federal Client.
Graduated as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or Mechanical Engineering Technologist. 

An acceptable combination of education and experience

Experience:Must clearly demonstrate 3 years of experience with one or more functions associated with calibration.Associated functions include: Verification, Adjustments, Calibration or RepairsMust clearly demonstrate 3 years of experience conducting Verification, Adjustment, Calibration or Repairs on one or more of the following Physical Properties Test Equipment (PPTE) type:Mechanical:  Load Cells
Mass:           Scales, Balances
Length:        Gauge Blocks
Torque:        Torque Wrench
Angle:          Angle Block
                    AutocollimatorsMust clearly demonstrate 3 years of experience with one or more of the following software:MetCal, Metrologic, SureCal, Gagetrack, Indysoft
The primary duty of the resource is to provide calibration services on Physical-Dimensional (Phys-Di) Test Equipment.  The resource will be calibrating one or more of the following physical-dimensional equipment type:
• Angle Blocks
• Autocollimator Calibration
• Caliper Calibration
• Dial indicator Calibration
• Gauge Block Calibration
• Level Meter Calibration
• Mass Calibration
• Micrometer Calibration
• Pin, Plug, Ring Gauge Calibration
• Ruler Calibration
• Thickness Standard Calibration
• Weight Scale Calibration
• Torque Calibration
Additionally, the resource is expected to complete all required administrative functions associated with TEMMIS, DRMIS or any other application related to calibration, as directed by the TA.  The resource is expected to perform the following functions:
• Verifications, Adjustments, Calibrations and minor Repairs
• Utilise the Test Equipment Material Management Information System (TEMMIS)
• Utilise the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS)
• Use commercial or in-house calibration software to perform calibration
• Pick up work order in TEMMIS or DRMIS
• Select the appropriate Standard necessary for the calibration
• Ensure Standards used for calibration are not overdue
• Utilise those Standards to perform the calibration
• Calculate measurement uncertainty using MS Excel
• Bring calibration results (with uncertainty) for approval
• Generate and print a calibration certificate
• Bring certificate for signature
• Complete the work order and attach certificate
• Generating Out Of Tolerance reports, when necessary
