Our Client in the Banking and Finance Industry is seeking a Intranet Developer for their Downtown Toronto office. This is a 6 months contract to start, possible extension OR Permanency 
GROUP/PROJECT INFO: The individual will be responsible for the redesign of the BMO Nesbitt Burns Intranet site to be consistent with BMO brand standards. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications the individual will be responsible for the re-navigation and re-build of BMO Nesbitt Burns’ Intranet site. This site is extensively used across the organization to ensure employees are able to find information, access tools and support materials, as well as all operational material to manage a successful business practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Intranet Design and Publishing
 Participating in build, design, content publishing and solution implementation activities.
 Reviewing and assessing functional specifications and design requirements.
 Preparing and publishing intranet and digital content (e.g. banners, video, photos, news content, procedures) using BMO’s web content management tools.
 Ensure intranet and digital guidelines and standards are adhered to with a focus on consistency of user experience.
 Identify and analyze intranet related issues and provide input and recommendations to manager for improvement.
 Maintain knowledge and awareness of intranet and digital channel service technologies, standards and requirements, and apply these to promote continuous improvement.
 Support, renewal and improvement of our Intranet site and capabilities;  
 Working with BMO’s Intranet & Digital Services Communications team to build and launch the updated site;
 Preparing and publishing intranet and digital content (e.g. banners, video, photos, news content, procedures) using BMO’s web content management tools
Must be proficient with SharePoint 
At least 3 years’ experience using SharePoint
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Post-secondary education or equivalent certifications.

Previous experience in Lotus Notes, Microsoft SharePoint – MOSS 2013, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Solid knowledge of on-line usability, including AODA for accessibility, and basic information architecture design.
Experience creating and following technical documentation.
