Office Admin & Legal - Saint John, NB

Our Client in the Banking and Financial Industry is seeking a
Jr Administrative Assistant for their St. John, new Brunswick Office. This is a 12 months contract to start, possible extension.
Overview of the role/daily responsibilities:
– Responsible for a full range of administrative duties including: telephone coverage, filing, word processing, correspondence, creation and updating of portfolios, photocopying, faxing, greeting clients
– Monitoring and ordering office suppliers
– Maintenance calls for all machines (copier, printer, fax etc.)
– New account openings
– Preparing mail outs to clients
– Maintaining the stock room

Top 3 Must- Have Skills:
1. Strong attention to detail (candidates must be able to articulate this in their resume/interview) 2. Previous banking experience or FI experience would definitely be an asset or a strong desire to work within a financial institution 3. 0-2 years of previous receptionist or office admin. experience
Soft Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills – both oral and written 2. Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
