Reporting to the manager, Systems Administration, the incumbent is responsible for performing activities related to the support and delivery of services related to the administration of systems for internal and external clients in outsourcing mode.

Level 1 Systems Administrators operate in an event center covering customer service round the clock, seven days a week.

-Perform monitoring of internal and customer environments with the help of tools at his disposal (Proactive). Also, receive incident tickets from different points of single contact (” Service Desks “) available to customers (Reactive).
-Process and monitor incidents according to customer service levels. Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting while respecting the established procedures, while taking care to document every action. Appeal to his colleagues N2 when needed.
-Process service requests according to established procedures.
-Perform release tasks, submitted by the coordination team. (Application of patches, validations following activities, etc.).
-Perform daily tasks of backups validations. Submit critical errors and problems to levels 2 and 3.
-Continually ensure the integrity of data entered in management tools and different databases. Make the necessary changes to ensure all reflects the clients’ environment.
-When required, act as a point of contact with the incident manager and/or other support groups. Be sure to follow escalation procedures. Communicate information to colleagues and superiors.

-College degree in Computer Science with specialization in Administration of Windows or Unix / Linux or equivalent working experience.
-Two to three years of experience in insurance and/or delivery of services as a frontline agent of systems administration.
-Knowledge of the concepts of virtualization.
-Knowledge of networking concepts and security.
-Basic knowledge in SQL, IIS, NetBackup, EPO.
-Knowledge in the following tools would be useful; LEMSS, PatchLink, SCOM, Nimsoft, etc.
