MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
 
Education:
MUSThave a College or CEGEP Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field of study
 
Experience:
MUST have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the last fifteen (15) prior to bid closing years in the direct management of a project
 
MUST have one (1) year of experience as a project manager implementing one of the following equipment classes or systems (to be identified at Task Authorization request) within the past five (5) years prior to bid closing:
–    Ammunition
–    Armoured Vehicles
–    Artillery Systems
–    Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Systems
–    Clothing
–    Combat Engineer Equipment
–    Communications Systems
–    Construction Equipment
–    Fuel and Lubricants
–    Fuel and Water Storage and Distribution Systems
–    Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems
–    Power Generation and Distribution Systems
–    Shelter Systems
–    Simulation Systems
–    Sensory Equipment
–    Small Arms
–    Support Vehicles
–    Tactical Equipment
–    Tracked Vehicles
–    Weapon Systems
 
MUST have, at minimum, one (1) year of experience, acquired in the last ten years prior to bid closing, in the Federal Government of Canada preparing and completing one (1) of the following documents:
–    Statements of Operational Requirement (SOR);
–    Statements of Capability Deficiency (SOCD); or
–    Statements of Work (SOW).
 
DUTIES:
 
The required services provided by the Contractor on an “as and when requested” basis may include, but are not limited to the following:
 
–    coordinating project management activities including financial, planning and contracting aspects;
–    planning and organizing a project management office;
–    giving briefings on progress and concerns of the project;
–    preparing documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations to update management of project progress;
–    coordinating the activities of project personnel, Department of National Defence (DND) internal customers, Contractors and other support providers;
–    preparing formal Statements of Work (SOW), work breakdown structures and compliance charts;
–    producing draft plans for incorporation into the Project Implementation Plan or Request for Proposal (RFP); and
–    preparing draft evaluation plans, criteria and evaluation schedules.
