?MaxSys is currently looking for a Level 3 ATIP consultant for our Federal Client.
Classification:IM/Records Management (ATIP), Level 3
Start & End Date:Contract Award March 31st 2018 plus two 1 year irrevocable options to extend
Level of Effort:120-240 days/year
Location:National Capital Region (Onsite)
MUST have a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
MUST have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in interpreting, applying and documenting actions related to the administration of the federal Access to Information and Privacy Act (ATIP), regulations, policies and guidelines and recent* experience using an ATIP case management system (i.e APCM/APR) in the Federal Government.
MUST have recent (within the last year from date of bid closing) experience in processing files regarding the Trans Mountain Expansion Project.
MUST have recent (within the last year from date of bid closing) experience in processing files regarding the Seismic and Geophysical Data
MUST have recent (within the last year from date of bid closing) experience in processing files regarding the Fort McMurray Wildfire
MUST have recent (within the last year from date of bid closing) experience in processing files regarding Mining Exploration
The Contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited, to the following:
a) Using NRCans ATIP Case Management system (i.e. AccessPro Redaction) in the analysis and disposition of access to information and privacy requests forwarded to the department under the two Acts by the public. Complying with the intent of the legislation including meeting statutory deadlines and adhering to governmental and departmental policies. In-depth analysis of records to determine what information can be released; interpreting the Acts, applying knowledge to the records and making recommendations to senior management.
b) Managing complex ATIP files that may require consultations and resolution of issues involving requesters, third parties, other federal departments/agencies and other organization; the development and/or recommendation of strategies; liaison with investigators; processing litigation files and negotiations on behalf of Natural Resources to resolve complaints files- with the Information and Privacy Commissioners.
c) Provides expert advice to senior departmental officials, staff, stakeholders and requesters on the interpretation and application of the ATIP legislation, policies, standards and practices, including preparing correspondence, briefs and reports.
