MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
 
Education:
MUST have an undergraduate degree in any field from a recognized university
 
Experience:
MUST have a minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with PeopleSoft HRMS; including, configuration, testing, requirements and specification writing                  
MUST have a minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience within the last five (5) years as a Business Analyst in a PeopleSoft HRMS development environment on version 8.9 or higher                
 
MUST have a minimum of three (3) consecutive years demonstrated experience within the last five (5) years working as a PeopleSoft Business Analyst within the Canadian Federal Government   
 
MUST have a minimum of one (1) year demonstrated experience within the last two (2) years working within the Canadian Federal Government on Phoenix implementation and stabilization activities                     
 
MUST have a minimum of one (1) year demonstrated experience within the last two (2) years working within the Canadian Federal Government on My GCHR business readiness assessment and on- boarding activities    
 
DUTIES:
 
Perform HR business process reviews, including assessment and determination of work-arounds in support of Phoenixstabilization;
 
Provide expert advice on, and assist in implementing, new processes and organizational changes, as well as, dealing with issues related to Phoenixstabilization;
 
Determine, in conjunction with analysts, PeopleSoft HRMIC solutions to support a variety of business requirements and identify processes forre-design;
 
Createandprovideinputintoprojectdeliverystrategies,includingbutnotlimitedto:
–    Communicationstrategies;
–    Documentationstrategies;
–    Testingstrategies;
–    Planning strategies;and,
–    Releasestrategies.
 
Provide assistance in assessing the functionality of PeopleSoft products outside of the current licensed footprint for potential deployment at theRCMP;
 
Conduct meetings (in person and via teleconference/video conference) and working groups with various stakeholders, project team members with the goal of communication work requirements, assessing proposed solutions and timelines, integrating plans, addressing a variety of implementation/stabilization issues,etc;
 
Participateinthereviewofallcustomizationrequestsandtheirassociatedcosts;
 
Participatein,andleadthecreationandreviewofvariousprojectmanagementdocumentssuchas:
–    Businesscases;
–    Projectcharters;
–    Projectbriefs;
–    Project plans;and,
–    Costestimates.
 
Provideweeklystatusreportstomanagementonallworkactivitiesandattendbi-weeklystatusmeetings with management;and,
 
Provide technical advice to the PeopleSoft project members onPeopleSoft.
