Our Client in the Banking and Finance Industry is seeking a Marketing/Online Coordinator for their Downtown Toronto office. This is a 6 months contract to start, possible extension OR Permanency
The B2B Thought Leadership group is responsible for driving engagement with B2B clients. This includes:
• Maintaining/creating engaging websites
• Targeted email marketing and social media interactions
• Select internal communications

The candidate will report to the Senior Online Communications Manager and will assist in the distribution of B2B digital communications. In this role, the candidate’s primary responsibility will be to support the Manager in maintaining the digital assets for Capital Markets. This team will be responsible for managing the internal and external websites and email marketing initiatives. This team also manages and coordinates select internal communications for the business.

This group works directly with capital markets and other lines of business, and is part of the broader B2B Marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Managing content from the internal and external websites
• Conduct website testing. This can include validating and migrating content, Q/A testing, ensuring style and brand consistency
• Maintaining aspects of websites and providing support and training to new users
• Will potentially be exposed to the coding environment. There is a lead coder that is responsible for complex initiatives and who, coordinator may be required to work with
• Primary responsibility will be coordinating and developing content for the internal website
• Coordinate translation
• Assist Manager with external site management and email marketing as required
• Assist in putting together the post summary reports for various clients

• 0-3 years of prior experience with marketing, online communication and or financial PR experience and/or education experience
• Prioritization skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills, copywriting/editing, design knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Strong team player
• Prior experience with email optimization; content marketing, CRM and/or CMS platforms an asset (ie. Salesforce, Django)

• Prior experience with HTML/CSS is a nice to have.
• Prior email marketing experience

• University degree
