Maxsys Staffing & Consulting is currently seeking an experienced payroll and benefits administrator for a client in the Edmonton area.
Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
Entering/importing employee payroll hours into accounting system (GP)
Extract timesheets and review work hours for completeness and accuracy
Maintain detailed records and documentation of employee payroll files
Answer and address employee enquiries on a timely matter
Filing (electronic and hard copy)
Complete Year-end payroll procedures including adjustments and verifications
Scheduling, planning and coordinating
3+ years in an administrative role
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience and training in payroll
Clear understanding and knowledge of the construction industry would be an asset
Experience in customer service is essential
Ability to work well under pressure
