Our client in Financial Service Industry is seeking PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Developer for Toronto location. This is 3 months contract position, extendable up to 6 months.

Position Scope
Scope of Position –

The primary purpose of this position is to work to design, develop and implement PeopleSoft application solutions and core technology products including application extensions, interfaces, reports, conversions and development, execution and operations architecture components. 
Secondary purpose is to provide Peoplesoft functional expertise and support on how PeopleSoft framework capabilities such as AWE, and Activity Lists can be leveraged to extend the delivered functionality in support of Pension Administration.
 
Key accountabilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment to solution, develop and test various prototypes and Proof of Concepts for the Pension Administration Solution
• Participate and drive discussions around PeopleSoft development approaches with Business and IT teams to effectively collaborate, socialize and get buy-in for PeopleSoft HCM solution components.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to interpret and translate user stories into a technology solution that can be derived from both Peoplesoft and a standard set of offerings.
• Using core PeopleSoft technical tools (e.g., PeopleTools/PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, SQR) to develop solutions to meet the functional and technical designs.
• Work with business and other IT team members to test Oracle PeopleSoft application components.
 
Qualifications
This section is used to identify the overall expertise needed to perform the job to the required accountabilities.
• 5+ years of Peoplesoft development experience preferably in HCM and Pension module including use of:  PeopleCode, Oracle SQL, PS Query, SQR, App Engine, Integration Broker/Web Service and Component Interface
• 3+ years of functional experience in Oracle PeopleSoft applications.  Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience working with PeopleSoft HCM
• Experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 and People Tools version 8.56 or higher
• Experience with Fluid UI and AWE will be given preference
• Experience with SOA integration architecture with understanding of Web services approach including Web service protocols such as SOAP and REST
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent work
