MaxSys is currently looking for a Program Admin, Senior for our Federal Client.
• Secondary school diploma is required
• Minimum of a certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution degree.
• Management and coordination of Government of Canada Contribution Programs (5+ years).
• Experience in advising senior executives on issues and outcomes related to ongoing programs (5+ years). 
• Intermediate or higher working level in Microsoft Excel and SAP/Sigma.
• Minimum of five years of experience in program management.
• Working knowledge of Government of Canada proactive disclosure policy.
• Contract management and adherence verification experience.
Description of duties:
Advising NRC’s International Innovation Office management about the status and operations of the Grants to International Affiliations Program including, but not limited to: ensuring financial commitments are met and budgets are optimized while adhering to Government of Canada Grants and Contributions policies and procedures, including yearly dues to Scientific Unions and travel grants to eligible Canadian researchers; monitoring that agreements between NRC and Canadian National Committees (CNCs) and agreements between Canada and International Unions are adhered to and renewed as needed; NRC CNCs are incorporated into NRCs program management database; and work continues towards putting into place an overseeing committee for the Canadian membership to the International Council for Science.
Preferable to have at least 5 years of progressive and successful project administration experience, including experience with technology and information management projects; project administration experience in the Government of Canada.  In particular, experience with:
Specific experience, qualifications (for example: education, software, etc.) 
Education: Minimum of a certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution degree.  A certificate or degree related to government contribution program management or public administration is an asset.
