?Typical Day in Role
Maintain the budget; this includes auditing items to be delivered under projects, reviewing timesheet reports for anomalies, ensuring all invoices have been approved with the proper sign-offs prior to payment and ensuring drawdowns are properly recorded and maintaining ongoing cost to complete forecasts. This includes full reconciliation of the project budget and completing investigations for differences as they occur.
Performs Project Manager functions, on small projects across business lines. Co-ordinate and manage small to medium phases of larger projects
Responsible for providing project support services to Program/Project Managers, applying all project management standards and templates to support the PM in project schedule management; project risk issues, actions and change management; dashboard reporting; vendor management and budget management, including financial forecasting.
Perform ongoing communication of project status, and escalating issues to VP or SVP as required.
Maintain the project files; this pertains to project documentation, approvals, drawdowns, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, monthly status reports, third party contracts and other correspondence/ documentation as appropriate.
Prepare/distribute agendas, record minutes, attend meetings, track issues, risks, etc.
Create and maintain Project Plan/Schedule
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) Project Control Officer/Project Coordination (5+ years experience)
2) Project Management Office (5+ years experience in PMO)
3) Project Financials (5+ years experience with authorized funding, forecasting, etc)
4) Excel (5+ years experience in relation to project financials)
5) FI/Banking industry experience
– PMP/PMI designation
Degrees or certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
