Office Admin & Legal - Mississauga

One of MaxSys-GSI’s clients in the public sector is seeking a receptionist for a short-term assignment.
Duties:To provide receptionist and confidential administrative and clerical support.Operating a telephone system and responding to all incoming telephone calls from internal clients and public in an efficient, polite and professional manner to expedite the flow of information to internal and external customers;Responding to general enquiries and/or directing telephone callers to appropriate departmental staff members to ensure provision of service/information;Providing personal reception to visitors by responding to general enquiries and/or advising appropriate departmental staff member of visitor.
Requirements:Work requires demonstrated clerical/reception experience in a customer-service oriented operation and sound knowledge of office practices and procedures. Also required are good communication skills, tact, discretion and diplomacy to deal with internal and external customers.  Ability to work independently, using initiative and good judgement.  Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers utilizing software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ontario.
