Our Client in the Telco Industry is seeking a Revenue Assurance Specialist (Pricing/Billing issues) for their Montreal office. This is a 12 months contract to start, possible extension OR Permanency
 
The Revenue Assurance Specialist will be a member of the BRS Service Delivery team, working in a dynamic, innovative team environment. This position will provide a seasoned professional the opportunity to expand/build/leverage networks across Marketing, Operations, Call Centers and IT, while gaining familiarity with the activities of a Product Management and Pricing teams. This position will provide the opportunity for an encompassing view of marketing initiatives and customer service business processes across BRS.
The Revenue Assurance specialist will identify opportunities to close revenue gaps, customer billing issue and recognize cost savings through monitoring and analysis of client’s performance metrics. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

The team is currently seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join the team. In the role, the Revenue Assurance Specialist will be responsible to support the resolution of post-production project defects to improve customer/agent experience. Once the issue has been identified, the successful candidates will resolve it by correcting existing processes/behaviours or through the change management process As such, it will be essential that the successful candidate must have strong organization and communication skills as well as demonstrate an extremely high attention to detail.

Job Duties and Accountabilities:
• Partner with IT, Marketing and Call Center counterparts to identify, investigate and resolve defects
• Lead root-cause production defect investigations to close revenue leakage / customer billing impacting issues and/or implement prevention gaps
• Identify and sponsor new initiatives that will help reduce cost or increase revenue
• Monitoring deliverables throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that the solution fulfills the business requirements
• Reduce adjustments done outside of the ordering tools

Critical Qualifications and Competencies:
• Knowledge of how to extract customized data reports
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High aptitude for understanding information systems technology
• Strong team player; ability to facilitate, negotiate and work within a multi-domain team environment
• Flexible, ability to work in an environment where “change” is prevalent
• High tolerance to ambiguity
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Assets:
• Experience and knowledge of client’s ordering and billing systems
• University degree in business or marketing or a related area or professional designation
• Bilingual in both English and French

• Ability to efficiently work in virtual teams, handling multiple parallel requests and very aggressive timelines
• Fast paced, changing working environment, interfacing with a myriad of stakeholders
• Monday to Friday regular business hours
