Our client in the Banking and Finance Team is seeking a Service Representative for their Downtown Toronto office. This is a 6 months contract to start, possible extension.
This is the support team for the call centre and branch network, relating to after sales for credit card customers.
This team is responsible for supporting requests that come through the call centre for after credit card sales and for thousands of cards and statements that are returned and not delivered to the client for various reasons and ensuring items are actioned accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Sorting through and inputting a high volume of mail that comes back from the postal services (US &
Canada) including credit cards, statements, PINS etc. to avoid fraudulent concerns on cards that are not properly delivered.
Email correspondence as required
Access the reports that reflect where cards get rejected, updating the address on the account and fix the addresses so that it doesn’t affect cards or statements from going on
Processing Name changes – process the data based on the reports
Processing add ons
Processing statement reports
Ad hoc tasks as required
Backing up requests from the call center as required
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
0 – 2 years relevant work experience processing a high volume of items/changes
Basic computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience in banking systems TSYS
Previous exposure working with financial institutions
Excellent written communication skills
A good team player
Keen attention to detail
High school diploma is mandatory
College diploma is preferred
