Our Client in the Banking and Finance Industry is seeking a Service Representative for their Downtown Torontol office. This is a  months contract to start, possible extension OR Permanency
 
 
SUMMARY
This is a back office role heavily operations driven.

GROUP INFORMATION CULTURE: Payment operation, handing all incoming and outgoing wire payments to the client.

Culture:
• This is a very fast paced environment, lots of flipping the switch, and multi-tasking.
• The team consists of 17 individuals within all different age ranges.
• The team gets along very well. They are energetic and have strong personalities!

DAILY DUTIES:
• Strictly Data Entry and electronic wire processing
• Receiving wire payments from team lead re-key into the system and repairing electronic wire payments using several different resources and applications
• Back office support for wire payments
• Handling insufficient funds (wire payments)

MUST-HAVES:
• Typing Speed and Accuracy a MUST – this will be tested at the interview stage – 40 WPM is mandatory
• Attention to detail– Resumes must be spotless

NICE-TO-HAVES:
• Experience in a data entry role would be an asset
• Operations experience (understanding work must be completed before the end of the day, requests that come in must be actioned)
• Previous FI experience
• Adaptable to change and quick learner
