RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
 
1.            Business Delivery and Operational Effectiveness
•             Processing withdrawal or physical securities, DRS statements, Global note reduction and process incoming treasury order requests that are sent to the department in box that are CDS / DTC  eligible from a Canadian or U.S. transfer agent electronic to CDS or DTC on a timely and accurate basis
•             Responsible for the accurate and timely notification and processing of items that are rejected.
•             Responsible for obtaining from transfer agents and relaying documents pertaining to rejected items to sending parties. Responsible for follow up and obtain resolution to aged items that pertains to aged or outstanding withdrawal items
•             Processing physical securities, DRS statements and treasury order requests that are sent to the department in box that are CDS / DTC  eligible from a Canadian or U.S. transfer agent electronic to CDS or DTC on a timely and accurate basis
•             Responsible for ensure all incoming securities that are sent to the CDS / DTC work queues are accompanied by the negotiable documentations. 
 
2.            Transaction/Account Processing and Reconciliation
•             Ensure all accounts are reconciled on a daily basis to mitigate potential loss or risks associated with accounts that are unbalanced.
•             Ensure Enterprise Reconciliation Services are in scope of errors, rejected items, delay in receiving CDS / DTC credit to ledger accounts and keep them in scope of issues that arises or may arise.
 
3.            Client and Relationship Management
•             Create, develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal and external clients. Respond effectively and in a timely manner to requests.
•             Comply with team SLAs as outlined.
•             Have a strong knowledge of the duties, responsibility and expectations that pertains to the desk. Have clear and precise communications skills with internal and external client’s
 
4.            Risk Management and Control
•             Maintains accuracy to security positions which is crucial to sustaining stringent high standard audit reviews
•             Escalates out of balance discrepancies to management and Enterprise Reconciliations
 
 
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
 
•             Prior experience with DTC/CDS
•             Working knowledge of Broadridge (formerly ADP)
•             Basis Excel knowledge: Data entry within Excel, Some basis formulas
•             Internal systems knowledge (SMS, IMS, TRAX)
