Our client in Banking and Finance Industry is seeking Social Media Marketing Coordinator for Toronto location. This is 6 months contract position.

Team Culture:
Fun, energetic and welcoming team of about 6-7 people. The team deals with various LOBs within multiple areas of the bank and are therefore always managing partnership relationships.
 
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with content calendar & Post on the social selling platform
2. Source content
3. Analytic and reporting
4. Tracking codes
5. Updating EMV tracker
6. Upload YouTube videos
7. Manage platform requirement
8. Assist social media manager and support social listening requirements
9. Build training materials
10. Archive files and keep proper records
 
What you will do:
 
Content Creation (50%)
Create social content calendars and posts for various lines of business, research third-party content opportunities, facilitate approvals with marketing and compliance partners, and upload content to vendor platform.
 
Measuring and Reporting (30%)
Measure the performance of social media content and user engagement and provide ongoing monthly reporting. Create and distribute regular scorecards for each initiative.
 
Social Selling Program User Maintenance (10%)
Manage social selling inbox to provide seamless onboarding experience to new program participants as well as provide guidance to existing participants who require assistance and troubleshooting; maintain user databases
 
Communication Development (10%)
Craft and distribute newsletters and other materials to encourage program participation and optimization, including presentations on best practices as well as training opportunities.
 
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Combination of two+ years in social media Strategy and/or Digital marketing experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (e.g. conference calls and in-person presentations); comfortable in dealing with varied audiences, including senior management.
• Solid understanding of social media and the digital landscape (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat and Instagram) and online user experience
• Strong content writing skills
• Comfortable working in a virtual team environment
• University degree
 
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Bilingual (EN and FR) (not a must have, but a very nice to have)
• Social media certificate or social media background (not just creating social media for content purposes)
• Experience with social selling and social selling tools such as Hearsay Social preferred but not required.
• Financial industry experience
• Visual Content creation experience for Social
 
SOFT SKILLS
• Superior and proven organization and project management skills
• Self-starter with a strong sense of autonomy and initiative & passion for quick-evolving social media environment
 
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
• Clear understanding of social media tools
• Digital savvy
