MaxSys is currently looking for a Special Advisor, Advanced for our Federal Client.
Secondary school diploma is required
Masters Degree in business or administration from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.
Valid Accounting Designation (i.e CA, CPA, CMA, CGA) is required
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 10 years of experience within the last 15 years analyzing business requirements in order to define process improvements leveraging system tools.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 10 years of experience within the last 15 years analyzing business requirements to map business processes/requirements to functional specifications.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has at least 5 years of experience within the past 8 years with the Canadian federal government or Crown Corporation.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has 10 years of experience providing advice and creating briefings and communications to senior management (Director level and above);
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has 8 years of experience in gathering information, research and analysis including conducting client workshops and evaluating as-is business processes in order to define to-be processes.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience developing training strategies as well as developing and delivering course material on at least 3 projects/initiatives.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience developing testing strategies and managing Unit Testing and User Acceptance testing on at least 5 projects/initiatives.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 10 years of experience in operational planning involving the annual Treasury Board planning cycle, including reference levels, main estimates, supplementary estimates, re-profiling, etc.
Working on site with Health Canadas Framework for Integrated Resource Management Systems (FIRMS) Section.
Advise on corporate financial processes including impact of legislative changes on Financial processes and system.
Advise and assist Chief of FIRMS on business process analysis and reengineering, including business process improvements and identifying enhancements to improve the process;
Reviewing relevant background documents including existing business processes and end-user and policy / legislative requirements;
Advise and assist the chief of FRIMS on creation of functional specifications based on business processes;
Advise and assist the Chief of FIRMS on creation of training and testing strategies.
Conducting client workshops and preparing the functional requirements documents;
Mapping reporting requirements to data available from HC System landscape (i.e SAP ECC 6,
Designing mock-up analysis and visualizations of reports and/or dashboards using real or fictitious data;
In conjunction with the ERP, BW, BPC developers and financial subject matter experts implementing the analytics solution and acting as a liaison between the FIRMS team and the business stakeholders;
Developing testing and training strategies;
Creating briefings and communications as required.
