?Story Behind the Need

• Business group: Global Technology Solutions’ Enterprise Cloud & Computer Operations is seeking Level 1 Technical Analyst to support infrastructure across bank’s servers, administer cloud environment, and support Level 2 with server reboots, patching, file shares, and other procedural tasks. This team supports multiple domains with 100+ tickets per day.

Typical Day in Role

• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity
• May install software or perform hardware testing remotely
• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
• Work independently and manage one’s time
• Support computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 (2-3 years experience)
2) Service Now (2-3 years experience)
3) Virtualization: Hyper-V cluster, VMware (2-3 years experience)

Nice-to-Have:
– Cloud support

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• Microsoft certifications
