Our client in the banking industry is looking for Technical Specialist (App Support Analyst) having strong background in providing Technical support and configuration management of the Hiperos/Risk Assess application.

• Technical job but resides in the business side at Client’s Procurement (cost savings function for the bank)
• Role is in grey area between business and technology
• Provides technical support of Procurement and other applications
• Research, analysis and implementation of configuration and integration changes across various applications
• Translates business needs and priorities into technical requirements
• Provide technical consultation to internal and external business partners

Role/ Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Technical support and configuration management of the Hiperos/Risk Assess application
• Resolving L2 tickets
• Identifying and providing guidance on business process issues and recommending technical and/or process solutions
• End-to-end delivery of configuration change requests, including analysis, requirements gathering, development, testing and change planning
• Creates business requirements documentation, technical specifications and training material for relevant changes
• Day to day project support on multiple initiatives
Must-Have Skills:
• Experience with the Hiperos/Risk Assess application
• Understanding of programming language (java script, html, etc.).
• Knowledge of SDLC
• BA experience – being able to convert business requirements into technical requirements is a must
• Analytical and problem solving skills
 
Nice-to-Have:
• Understanding of the Supplier Lifecycle
• Understanding of Third Party Risk Management
• Ability to balance multiple priorities at once
• Customer service experience (Support or other)
• Change management experience (technical or small initiatives experience)
• Project Management experience

• Ability to simplify complex concepts
Educational Requirements:
• Undergraduate /college degree ideally in comp. sci or business
• BA and/or ITIL certification an asset
